Hodi mesto je zvočni zemljevid v katerega gledalec vstopi in mu sledi s pomočjo aplikacije na mobilnem telefonu. Preko zvočnih slik, vtisnjenih v natančno izbrane lokacije v središču mesta, prehaja med fiktivnimi in realnimi situacijami. Zemljevid preplete zvok s prostorom in ga kot celoto ponudi v doživljanje izkušnje, v premislek. Med prostori, ki so. In prostori, ki so bili. Bi lahko bili. Morda še bodo.

Communication is never easy and technology doesn’t change that. Annie Abrahams will talk about how she uses online performance to learn more about the limits and possibilities of networked and regular communication and collaboration. She will discuss how relations and behaviour are at the core of her artistic work and about what it means to work on an aesthetics of attention and trust. Using examples of her collective writing and online streaming performances she will try to shed light on the liberating aspects of the human messy sides of interaction in what she calls an online environment of lonely togetherness

Reading Club is a website that proposes a text and an interpretive arena to four readers. These readers will write together their reading of a text inside the text itself. Reading Club creates a time and a space for collective writing, which also draws the reader into an intertextual “battle” (the number of characters allowed and the available time being limited) and so artistically explores the relationship of reading and writing on the web as well as the status of the author. The public on the website will see an evolving, cinematographic picture of thought on the fly and assists in a collaborative writing in the making.
April 1 – 27, 2014, Cona invited and will host a French artist Annie Abrahams an internationally renowned intermedia artist as part of an international residency at JSKD.

Episode 10 of Sensing Cities discusses with Slovenian artists Irena Pivka and Brane Zorman, founders of CONA Institute of Contemporary Art about their locative audiopiece Walk the City, a project about the lesser known yet socially and politically important areas of the city of Ljubljana and the attempt to try and break the “bubble-ness” of modern city dwelling and commuting by slowing down the process through walking, exploring and listening. Walk the Cityinvites its participants to start paying attention to the urban environment via its hidden narratives and soundscapes.
